How to Purchase an Original Art
Any painting on my web site which has a price listed, is for sale and may be purchased. To do so, just contact me and let me know which ones you would like. If you are local, you are welcome to come and see me at my gallery and see the artwork and purchase it. If you are from out of town then I can arrange shipping, once payments have been made by Paypal or your cheque has cleared.  

How to Commission Original Art
It can be as easy as telling me what you want. You can choose the subject, colors, style, size and medium.  With your ideas I am able to create your custom painting - your way.  Or, for more specific requests, I can work from a good photograph or a combination of photos that I can use to create the image you would like. Then you need to decide if you would like an oil painting, watercolour or pencil sketch and also the approximate size you would like. You are welcome to contact me for a free consultation to discuss your ideas.

A commission can suit any budget with prices starting from $150 for a 9" x 12" pencil drawing to $2,500 for a large oil painting. Once I know all the details of what you want, I can give you an exact price. When we are ready to proceed, I need a 50% downpayment via Paypal or cleared cheque to begin work on your piece. Cash is always accepted.

Once I have started work on your artwork you can have as much input as you would like. Normally, I send a photo for you to proof or invite you to see the piece when it is partially done. You will have another opportunity to proof the painting again before completion. I will gladly make any adjustments possible so you are 100% happy with the work. Pencil sketches and water colours can be completed in 1 week, oil paintings 4 weeks and for large oil paintings, 6-8 weeks. Payment in full is due upon completion.

Please consider that your watercolour or pencil sketch must be framed to protect the artwork. If you could provide me with the inside dimensions of your matte or frame  I will size the artwork to fit, saving you from having to pay for custom framing later. Framing is optional for oil paintings because they are very durable and I paint around the edge of the canvas so the painting looks finished without framing.

Ordering Prints and Canvas Reproductions
Many of my paintings can be reproduced and shipped to you at very reasonable prices through my galleries on the website imagekind. You will be able to choose and preview the artwork you want, in the size, matte and frame you would like. You can order on-line and they will ship your custom order to you. If you would like one of my paintings which is not listed on imagekind, just let me know and I will upload the image so it is available for you to order.
